After an exciting montage Jack Tretto took the stage and paid tribute to Kaz Hirai and the Sony subscribers. Then David Cage is introduced to the stage to start off the press conference. Cage announces newest IP from Quantic Dream called Beyond: Two Souls starring actress Ellen Page. The main character Judy feels a link to the supernatural world and the spirits within.

Jack Tretto returns and announces the Sony title PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale along with the E3 trailer and a demo of the game. The game will be available for the Vita and cross-compatible with the PS3. The demonstration has two players playing on the PS3 and the other two are playing on the Vita. Reminiscent to Smash Bros. including backgrounds interacting with the map e.g. the Hydra from God of War attacking the players. Fat Princess won the demo. Two new characters are unveiled Nathan Drake and Big Daddy From Bioshock.
Later this year a PlayStation Cross-Play will be released for LBP2 part of a new DLC. “Adding another gaming dimension between the PS3 and Vita”.
Journey, Dyad and Papo & Yo and The Unfinished Swan. More than 200 pS3 games are on the way. PlayStation Plus will be feature free new games monthly to members. And more PSX classics are on the way such as Tomb Raider and FFVII.
The PSN is the focus now. Sony will be including Hulu-Plus, Crackle and Youtube will be heading to the Vita soon.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified is coming to PS Vita and Assassin’s Creed: Liberation, featuring the first female Assassin, will be on the Vita and set in New Orleans. When linked the two titles will access a new mulitplayer skin and weapon upgrades. Also it will be bundled with a new white PS Vita.
Ubisoft is showing a demonstration of Assassin’s Creed III featuring a sea battle between ships in a heavy storm.
Assassin’s Creed III will be released with a PlayStation bundle.
A new Far Cry title is in the works for the PS3 along with Far Cry 3 including four player co-op and map editor. The Vita will unlock a PS3 DLC once accessed with it.
Changing the gears to PlayStation Move. Premiered a trailer to Wonder Book – an interactive book with augmented technology via the PlayStation Eye. A digital pop-up book. While the game announced with this technology is Book of Spells, written by J.K. Rowling. There is a Book of Spells surely to make the Harry Potter fans go nuts.
Though this game isn’t for everyone the Augmented Reality Game may open more doors for gaming.
Next Sony is talking about bringing the PlayStation experience to smartphones and tablets using PlayStation Suite. PlayStation Suite will be available on HTC phones and the name is changing to PlayStation Mobile.
God of War: Ascension is up now with a live demonstration. Kratos has his Blades of Chaos along with new combos and kills. Kratos can also used weapons against his enemies and blood gets on Kratos while he fights. The lighting and liquid effects are unreal so far for a PlayStation 3 title. Ends with Kratos fighting the Kraken. God of War Ascensions release date is March 12, 2013.
The Last of Us is being shown now. The post-apocalyptic setting is amazing as well. Showcasing stealth-action gameplay, third-person shooting and hand-to-hand combat. Your AI partner helps out during combat as well. The visuals are impressive along with the animation. Ends with a shotgun blast in the face.
