Nintendo is showing off the Wii U gamepad. It is a controller and a game screen all in one ergo the Wii U will not be dependent on a TV screen. Nintendo’s first announcement gameplay demo of Pikimin 3 for the Wii U is announced. The Wii U controller is the map for Pikimin 3 if you play on TV or you can play it on the Wii U controller by itself.

Reggie Fils-Aime takes the stage and says “this presentation is all about the games.” 23 Wii U titles will be shown during this conference and that is a small part of Wii U and 3Ds titles playable. More info on the hardware console will be released.

“Wii U Changes your gaming, how you interact with your gaming with friends and it changes your TV.” NetFlix, Hulu, Youtube and Amazon video will support the Wii U.

The Wii U hardware will support two separate Wii U gamepads.

A Wii U video demonstrating the hardware follows Reggie’s speech. Including a built-in camera and mic. Miiverse will be the Wii U’s home screen full with Miis played on the console. A gameplay trailer of Super Mario Bros U is being shown and it will feature the Miiverese in it.

The third party Wii U titles are announced and the first is Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition. Gameplay trailer of the game is shows the games specific features. The new BAT meter will make batman more powerful and deal more damage. The batarang can be guided with the Wii U movement and placing explosive gel will be used with the Wii U movement as well. Players can set off explosions one by one or all at once on the gamepad.

Next announcement is another gameplay video of Scribblenauts for the Wii U. Now a gameplay montage of what is next for Wii U: Darksiders 2, Mass Effect 3, Battle Tanks, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Trine 2: Directors Cut, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus sold 43 million units around the world and now they’re adding a peripheral the Wii Fit U. First look at Wii Fit U. A performance game SiNG (working title) a karaoke style game – the controller will have the lyrics while the dance moves are on the screen.

Nintendo is changing gears to the Nintendo 3Ds however for only a couple of minutes. Live tomorrow night there will be an hour devoted to Nintendo 3Ds games. Starting with 3 Nintendo first-party titles: Super Mario Bros 2 will a gold theme will has been announced August 19th US. Paper Mario 3Ds and Luigi’s Haunted Mansion 3Ds.

Lego City Undercover for the Wii U is announced.

Ubisoft is being presented for more Wii U announcements. Yves Guillemot of Ubisoft calls the Wii U a revolution. Nintendo Land is a first-party title featuring the Wii U’s unique features. A theme park featuring various attractions and Nintendo characters. With 12 different mini-games such as Luigi’s Mansion and Animal Crossing.
