E3 2012 Dead Island Sequel Announced and Aliens: Colonial Marines Delayed

More companies are opening their doors like Ellis Island and giving their information now that the conferences are done and the show floor is open.

Deep Silver, the publisher to Dead Island, announced today that a sequel titled Dead Island: Riptide. Techland is currently developing it the game for consoles. That could mean the usual Xbox 360 and PS3 but we could be seeing the Wii U.

While on Gearbox’s end Aliens: Colonial Marines is delayed to February 12, 2013. The Wii U release date will be revealed later. Specific details weren’t released why the title is delayed. However, the delay isn’t stopping Gearbox since they are showing as much Aliens gameplay as they can.
